Trustworthy and good service :)
Bought one refurbished ACER Chromebook (A1 grade) and it was brilliant. So i ordered another for my parents which is equally as good. The condition was almost as new though they were on sale pretty cheap. The standard delivery for £5 arrived after just 2 days which was impressive.
Overall i would use again if competitive though i have had no contact with the customer services i did pay with PayPal just in case im sure their customer service would be as great as the rest of the sales process.

I am sitting here with £4000 worth of…
I am sitting here with £4000 worth of brand new Dell laptops, trying to find a new one I like, and failing. So organised a return on them and searched on laptops direct instead with the idea of getting a reconditioned one. I had my idea on a surface book 3 a couple of years ago but it was a terrible rip off, so I wondered if I could get a second hand one instead, and hey presto, there it was. A reasonable price, not the exact specs, but so what? It's still a great piece of kit.
I was a bit worried about it being listed as A2 level, and thought it might turn up with dents and things, but no, just the power brick is a bit knackered, but who cares.
All in all, very happy indeed.

AVOID USING THEIR TRADE-IN SERVICE
I recently bought myself a new laptop and decided to trade in my old HP 250 G6. Having done extensive research I decided to go with Laptops Direct who offered me £115 and a free postage service using Collect+ by Yodel. First off it took over two weeks and several emails to both companies for my laptop to be confirmed as delivered, and then I was offered less than half of the original valuation because, apparently, the cable, adapter and plug I'd carefully packaged within was not in the box! I cannot imagine that any of the couriers involved in the transport of it had opened up the heavily taped up box and took them out, but according to Laptops Direct they were not there and therefore I was not going to get anywhere near the original valuation, no matter how much I tried to argue the point. So, I asked for my laptop back and it arrived today in a totally different box and without my cable, adapter and plug! To say I'm annoyed would be an understatement! My advice, don't use this service unless you want to end up worse off than when you started!

Brilliant service
Brilliant service. Thank you
It all started out great...
It all started out great. I purchased an item, it arrived in good time. I changed my mind and wanted to return it. Again, no issue there. The problem started when they had my item back. I had already put that I required a refund in the packet and when I sent the initial request so why, oh why, do you feel the need to call me 3 times to discuss the refund. It's simple; REFUND MY MONEY AND STOP WASTING MY TIME!!!
Laptop received as promised
Laptop received as promised. No issues so far. Everything is running well.
Palit rtx 3080 Titan…
I tried to buy a Palit rtx 3080 Titan graphic card, which was then on a deal for 830£ (using SUMMER70 code) from Laptops Direct on the 3rd of July. Created an account, found the item, booked a delivery slot and went to pay for it... Chose amazon pay as the payment method, verified my payment with the amazon mastercard app and paid for my item... In the end my order wasn't even created on their system...I understand things like this can happen, but another 3 days and 8 phone calls later (one of them cost me over 12 pounds) I was told that in the meantime the price of the item changed and despite me, clearly stating the unwillingness of me, to pay even a penny more for it, the Laptops Direct created an order and tried to charge my amazon mastercard for the amount of 1049£ (which I only found out logging into my account later on in the day). Gladly, they didn't succed and everything got cancelled by me over the phone with their customer service person. With the help of amazon mastercard customer service and a lady from Laptops Direct, I finally managed to make the original transaction (which was still showing as pending) for the 830£ (plus 9.99£) disappear from my account. I deeply regret having anything to do with this shop. The way my issue ended up being dealt with, is to me unprofessional and unacceptable.

Problem after problem….
Terrible experience buying a monitor, paid for a new monitor but sent a refurbished monitor and now they are very unhelpful, I have contacted them numerous times by email to return the item but been ignored until I phoned them and was told someone would contact me 3 days ago but still no reply/help.
I would not recommend buying from laptopsdirect.com
Very unhappy customer with the product and (non existent) customer service.

Don’t assume you will get the right product!
Day before yesterday I made a new order for a wireless keyboard with mouse. The delivery was yesterday but the wrong item was in the box!
I called customer services, it took over an hour for them to answer!
It was a call centre in another country and I had problems getting them to understand what I was saying.
I then was asked to send photos as proof, a bit annoying that I have to prove their error. I then got a message to say they are looking into it, great! Another day without the product! I’m guessing as I haven’t heard anything since I won’t be getting it tomorrow, but then again it won’t be convenient as I ordered it to arrive yesterday! I am unimpressed by this service and will have to think twice about recommending them or using them again.

Be careful when buying a phone
I recently bought a phone from LaptopsDirect and the process was quick and easy but the problem is that the phone was an Italian version which had been opened, repackaged with a UK plug and then sold to me. I'm not sure how many things this exactly affects, but there are some Samsung services which seem to now be permanently stuck in Italian and basically useless to me.
Obviously if the phone is unable to pick up certain UK signals then it's a disaster, but either way I find it very misleading that this was not mentioned anywhere on the phone's page on the website. When you buy from a co.uk website you expect the product to be fully compatible with the UK and to not clearly state otherwise seems very dishonest.

Absolute nightmare
Bought a Samsung a22. No problems with the order or delivery. However it turns out to be a European model so they have opened the box, changed the software and replaced the charger (don't know if its with a Samsung one or not). None of this information was on the website and I would not have made the purchase if I had been aware of this information.
Tried calling but on endless hold. Tried the chat facility twice but timed out each time while talking to someone. Informed that I have to pay the return postage even when the listing was not honest. I now have to wait for up to 3 days for someone to call me back so I can initiate a refund. There should be a basic, easy to use refund policy.
Never an issue
Simple to order, quick payment, shipped in a matter of days, works straight out of the box. Have done numerous transactions with this site and never had a shipment delay or issue with products
